If you are all playing in the Rumcraft server then frosty put back the old map for JERB.

we are not going to be using the old map, it is full of problems with quarry holes, flowing lava, old bases etc etc.
we are using a new map so it is up to you whether you want to play on it or not.
i can put old map back on cubedhost server but you will have to pay to keep it going.

With the start of the new map and the confusion with some rules i thought i would put this up, if any are wrong can the OP's repost with correct rules. These are the rules aswell as our normal server rules. (Normal server rules here ) 1 quarry per player, must cover hole and light bottom up with torches unless its in ocean When using a turtle to quarry/mine stop all flowing water/lava 10k block limit same as last two servers no living within 500 blocks of another player unless agreed upon. no loaders in nether no pumping lava from nether no loaders or quarries in twilight no canvas bags (not sure if config has stopped them) *BANNED ITEM*the End is off limits no going to the end until we go on the community dragon hunt As this serevr has over 3x more ram then the last chunkloaders are allowed but keep in mind this might change if they are abused (world anchors are still prefered). Portal gun portals are to be outside of loaded chunks as are spawners. Also keep an eye on forced chunks that have machines pipes and cables which are going through more then the loaded chunks. |

So far the server has been great with only a small amount of lag when the map is saved and when new chunks are being generated.
I would like to thank everyone who was in on setting it up and making this community happy again.

Im using an canvas bag just to store my mining turtle items. I'm not 100% but i think the glitch has been stopped with a mod Frosty or Ode should be able to shed some light. I also used them in the original Jerb to store sets of items (Thaumcraft, Quarry etc) and was unaware of the glitch until last week. That rule might be one that will be removed from the list as long as Frosty confirms the fix. |
