i would like to try out FTB, but for some reason i cant get it to work and if some one would like to help me that would be nice.  |

what is the problem? some things. download ftb feed-the-beast.com/#download_wrapper (download the .exe client) double click the ftb_launcher app copy that to desktop to make it easier in future launcher will appear, in the mod pack tab choose mindcrack mod pack and leave version on recommended. let it load then copy and paste (ctrl+v) ip into multiplayer server. |

i dont think i will play anyway, i did 3 times for the few hours i was on and lost a lot of raw mats, sooo...

sooo.... its the same as vanilla when you start, same issue of finding shelter , avoiding mobs, gathering resources and building a base area.
would you keep giving up in vanilla if you had to start again?

Simply make a hole and only leave it to collect food and wood, play like vanilla until you have lots of raw materials to start making machines and stuff. I'm sure i can help you a little if needed. Best bet is make a sword get food and travel to the middle of nowhere and start alone. first job as in Vanilla is make a bed if you die you wanna be close to that spot to collect your stuff. |
