I see on the FTB launcher there are options for different versions of FTB. Ive been playing a litle solo in the Mindcrack 1.4.6 version which has marble and sorting and everything  Is the version we are at somepoint updtaing to? I'm loathed to spend too much time on sorting machines and base decoration if we are changing soon to a more updated version of FTB. Although I suppose it depends on Cubedhost's choice of version does it? |

I think it's the ftb magic... mod.. pack.. whatever that is. Not the regular one. Should we change to that?

I just love marble and sorting pipes I just dont know if the Mindcrack FTB is the next step or a specific FTB for them. Dosn't FTB have an update coming anyway which includes redstone mod? |

the mindcrack version is ftb with a couple of extra mods, such as seeing ppls names from anywhere on the map, i think it is basically a 1.4.6 pre-release but with a few mods extra.

but if we going to switch to the mindcrack/direwolf 1.4.6 version and do a world reset can we do it sooner rather than later.
dont like not knowing whether we going to reset or not as i am about to start work on a base, would like to know whether to continue on base or just mess about for now lol

ok so after further looking into it basically the mindcrack and direwolf version are just what those ppl wanted in thier pack, basically they put the mods in that they wanted and took out those that they did not want. for instance one took out portal gun due to it lagging the server, the other took out advanced machines because they dont like it. so wait till proper release and take a chance that we have to reset or get world corruption or make a JERB ftb pack?

i think we should take a vote, reset or not, use mindcrack or not?
to be honest im not fussed either way now cos while i have started my base and got plenty of resources im not exactly 100% happy with it lol.

When you get the launcher to the point where it asks for login details, change the filter to show servers If you have difficulty downloading it, try changing the version from recommended to 4 (via the edit mod pack button) |
