i think its time to update to 8.1.0 as 8.0.1 was full of bugs 8.1.0 seems to have fixed the majority. I'm just new and not sure if there's much work in it but if it helps the server its better for everyone

the new portal under his base is due to you lighting portal from nether side and going thru when his portal in overworld was switched off, will have to break my portal and redo it when server back up.

notice the Exception ticking world, that may be the problem, altho all things i have read so far put that as either carts going thru portals or lava gathering from the nether. both mine and geps lava gathering are switched off(if that is even what it refers to)

i think only way to fix it is to edit the config folders and replace IC2 .jar with latest build .jar but also each player would have to replace thier own client ic2 .jar.
apparently the latest IC2 build fixes several server crippling errors but the FTB team has not released new version with this new .jar yet.

have posted help thread on ftb server tech help forum.
Sorry for this people i am trying to get it going again.
Ok its really wierd, server seems to be running ( it is auto saving and java reset its connection) but i am unable to connect. Will leave it running incase it is same thing as last time when Gep and I tried to fix it, perhaps server hosts are having problems.

Try searching the server logs for:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded
If it shows up, then the world has simply gotten too big for the memory allocation. How much does it currently have?

do we need to update or what exacly is wrong does it crash cause of all these error messages?
